Japanese Kutani covered container, Meiji period, the lid with heavenly beauties playing musical instruments, the cylindrical body decorated with rakans and on phoenix shaped tripod supports, (chip to the one of the finials), base marked 'Dai Nippon Kutani Eiseido' with the signature of Haruna Shigeharu (1847-1913), approx. 12.25"h (with finial), 9.25"dia (at the widest point)
