(lot of 10) 1) Silver Tupo pin group, including a symmetrical double headed animal atop 2 avian form creatures, Chimu, Coastal Peru, (1100-1476 A.D), 2) a corroded Bronze Tupo pin with two projecting spirals from head of pin, curved shaft (10.2 cm) Aymara Culture, Bolivia, Early Colonial Period (1500-1800 A.D.); 3) Silver Tupo Pin; Head of two symmetrical monkeys on either side of a round silver ball, 15.5 cm 1 x 2.6 cm w (Needle portion is 13.8cm and may be a copper alloy) Chimu/Wari, Peru (700-1400 A.D.); 4) Double-headed Llama Tupo pin copper/silver alloy with partially perforated hole (bored from both sides) at junction of stem and effigy; (13.7cm l x 2.5cm w) Cuzco ares of Peru, Pre-Columbian Period (Pre A.D 1500); 5) Silver Tupu Pin; long stem fastened at base of heart-shaped design; floral design on top of heart & on bottom of heart (leaves); 3 rope-like outlines around heart; punctuated circles on edge of tup. (15.8cm l x 5.5cm w) Colonial(Spanish), Peru 18th Century A.D.; 6) Tupu Pin with long shaft; Bird on Maize that appears like a floral design with handles & a projection flaring out to the left of the design. Metal not identified. (14.6cm l x .5cm w) Andean, Bolivian Highlands Pre-Columbian Period (Pre- A.D. 1500); and 7) Small Tarnished Silver Tupo Pin; Slight crease in flattened, ovoid head; hole in neck; rounded, bent shaft tapering to point; "420" on one side of head. (6.7cm l x 3cm w) Aymara/Quechua, Tomavi, Potosi, Bolivia; 8) Colonial Spanish Tupo pim in the shape of a spoon, Potsi (possibly La Paz), Bolivia, (circa A.D. 1808); 9) Colonial Spanish silver Topu pin with spoon shaped head engraved with a floral design extending downward toward the pin shaft; single silver wire scrolls at shaft base, Potsi (possibly La Paz), Bolivia (A.D. 1808); 10) Sulver Topu pin in the shape of a large spoon, with an engraved bird to the cup, .900 silver, early 19th Century example
