Ansel Adams (American, 1902-1984), "Sonoma County, Hills and Sheep," sepia toned gelatin silver print mural mounted to homosote board, printed 1950s by Gabriel Moulin Studios (San Francisco, CA), image size: 95"h x 119"w, overall (with wood frame): 96"h x 120"w. Note: The mammoth, mural sized prints were printed in the mid-1950s for the American Trust Company, later Wells Fargo Bank, for their offices in San Francisco, CA. Literature: Ansel Adams and Nancy Newhall, "The Pageant History in Northern California" (San Francisco, 1954).
