Art Deco multi-stone, diamond, enamel, 18k yellow gold and platinum giardinetto double-clip brooch, circa 1920

Centering a floral arrangement, comprised of (6) round ruby and (10) round sapphire cabochons, ranging in size from approximately 3.0 mm to 1.8 mm, accented by (2) diamond and platinum leaves, issuing from a square-cut ruby and diamond enhanced kylix/vase, further enhanced by (2) round ruby and (2) round sapphire cabochons, set on a geometric shaped, black enamel background, framed by (72) calibre-cut emeralds, weighing a total of approximately 1.50 cts., interspaced by (4) square-cut rubies, weighing a total of approximately 0.60 ct., further enhanced by (2) round ruby cabochons, measuring approximately 4.0 mm and (5) round sapphire beads, measuring approximately 3.4 mm, each set with (1) single-cut diamond, set in an 18k yellow gold mounting, measuring approximately 59 x 45 mm, completed by double clips. Total ruby weight is approximately 1.35 cts. Total sapphire weight is approximately 0.50 ct. Total diamond weight is approximately 0.65 ct., gross weight 32.02 grams. Attributed to Charles Jacqueau, chief designer for Cartier (1909-1960's)
