A Meissen porcelain group The Placidness of Childhood, after the model by M.V Acier, modelled as a baby laying on a small pillowed bed, its blankets strewn and its rattle hanging to one side, attended by a dog, the whole rising on a partial gilt naturalistic base, underside incised E 77 and having a blue cross swords mark, 7"h x 8"w x 6"d (chip and restoration to base)
