A George III reticulated sterling basket, probably Hester Bateman, London, circa 1781, the deep welled oviform bowl with a beaded swing handle, a ribbon tied coat-of-arms in the cavetto of bowl, the sides cut with geometric patterns, raised on an oval base, conformingly decorated with cut out crosses and leaves, 12.5"h, 35.6 toz Provenance: The Estate of George Germany, Berkeley, CA.
