Circle of Frederic Remington (American, 1861-1909), Soldier on Horseback, oil on canvas, bears signature lower right, canvas: 21.5"h x 26.5"w, overall (with frame): 26"h x 31.25"w. Provenance: Won it in a poker game in 1930s and then by descent. Mr. William Cohen (Nashville/NYC) was a publisher of books and magazines (Ideal Publishing Co., NYC)
