Joe Rosenthal (American, 1911-206), "Raising Flag on Iwo Jima," circa 1950, gelatin silver print, signed and dedicated "with sincerest thanks and best wishes to my friend Mort Donoghue," image/sheet (unframed): 8.25"h x 6.75"w. Provenance: From the estate of Marguerite Donoghue, daughter of Mort. Donoghue was a member with Rosenthal at Press Club San Francisco. Note: A copy of "Scoop-Victory Edition, Press Club of San Francisco" 1945 accompanies the lot.
