(lot of 2) Japanese pair of large bronze vases, Meiji period, raised cranes on the wide neck, dragon around the body, sea turtles on the lower part, base marked "Dai Nippon Akatori-zo", together with wooden stands, approx. 26"h; provenance: gift from the Japanese government to the former 80th Governor of Connecticut, U.S. Senator, Abraham Ribicoff (1910-1998)
