Willem Janszoon Blaeu (Dutch, 1571�1638), "Nova Virginiae Tabula," circa 1640, hand-colored copper engraving, image (sight): 14.75"h x 19"w, overall (with mat/unframed): 26"h x 30"w. Provenance: Estate of Frank J. Caufield (San Francisco, CA). Mr. Caufield was one of the founding partners of the venture capital firm Kleiner, Perkins Caufield, and Byers.
