(lot of 2) Imperial Bavarian/Prussian swords, late 19th century: the first, a Prussia Garde Du Corps (Kaiser's personal Elite footguard), WK& C maker, lion head pommel sword fitted with ruby eyes, a black composite handle, a langet cast with star medallion; the second, a Bavarian infantry officer sword, W.R. Kirschbaum maker (1876-1883), inscribed "Eisenhauer, Beabea o/l Hanemann 1892 In Treue Fest, h monogram, fitted with a sword knot, length of the larger 40.5"l, Provenance: The Holt Military Museum, Lafayette, California
