George Rodrigue (American, 1944-2013), Blue Dog (with Lightning), acrylic and screenprint on canvas board, signed in lower left, board: 14"h x 11"w, overall (with frame): 18"h x 15"w. Provenance: Estate of Sheila Martin-Stone (Oakdale, California). Ms. Martin-Stone was one of the founders of Triplex Direct Marketing in 1972. The company pioneered the management of computerized mailing lists; purchased from George Rodrigue Studios (New Orleans, LA) in the 1990s.
