Attributed to John Hoppner (British, 1758-1810), "Lady Cavendish," oil on canvas, unsigned, artist and title plaque affixed to frame lower center, inventory stamp verso, canvas: 16"h x 14"w, overall (with frame): 22.5"h x 20.5"w. Provenance: Purchased at auction in 1956 to the Estate of David Pleydell-Bouverie, grandson of the 5th Earl of Radnor (Glen Ellen, CA). Note: All proceeds to benefit the Bouverie Preserve of Audubon Canyon Ranch (Glen Ellen, CA).
