the eyes and the nose represent a sea otter, the bold forehead and the large eyes represent the killer whale, the two animal beings are in the form of a man, signed and dated on interior, 17"h Provenance: From the estate of Tony and Madeline Gross a rocket scientist at NASA/Ames, and consultant of NASA respectively, Sunnyvale, CA. Collectors of Pacific Northwest art since 1979; half of the proceeds from the sale will be donated to Inuit charities.
