(Lot of 2) Continental faience model of a dalmatian and a miniature painting of a pitbull, 19th century, the first seated dog, possibly Belgian, painted 'DM' factory mark, 7.25"h; the second framed oil on panel portrait within parcel silvered frame, overall 5.75"h x 7.25"w. Provenance: Property of Jay Baumgarten (1922 - 2010), New York antiques dealer and descended through the family.
