Frank Vining Smith (American, 1879-1967), "Rock Bound Coast," 1955, oil on masonite, signed lower left, signed, titled, dated, and dedicated verso, sight: 10"h x 14"w, overall (with frame): 17"h x 20.75"w. Provenance: Estate of Joanna Barnes and Jack Warner (Santa Barbara, California). Ms. Barnes was a Hollywood film actress featured in movies such as "Auntie Mame (1958)" and "The Parent Trap (1961)". Mr. Warner was a prominent architect.
