American School (20th century), "Davy", oil on canvas, unsigned, titled centered left, overall (with frame): 24.25"h x 48.25"w. Provenance: Estate of Joanna Barnes and Jack Warner (Santa Barbara, California). Ms. Barnes was a Hollywood film actress featured in movies such as "Auntie Mame (1958)" and "The Parent Trap (1961)". Mr. Warner was a prominent architect.
