Follower of Paul-Cesar Helleu (French, 1859-1927), "Studies of Male Heads- Head Lower Left: Portrait of Boldini," graphite and ink on paper, unsigned, sight: 8"h x 10.5"w, overall (with frame): 15"h x 19"w. Provenance: Estate of Joanna Barnes and Jack Warner (Santa Barbara, California). Ms. Barnes was a Hollywood film actress featured in movies such as "Auntie Mame (1958)" and "The Parent Trap (1961)". Mr. Warner was a prominent architect.
