Joichi Hoshi, (Japanese, 1913-1979), "Snowball and Red Bird," 1964, woodcut print, signed and dated lower right, edition A.P., sight: 17.75"h x 17.75"w, overall (with frame): 26"h x 25"w. Hoshi was a popular printmaker who is most remembered for his extensive series of woodblock prints depicting trees.
