A Louis XVI style gilt bronze and marble mantel clock, retailed by Shreve, Crump & Low, Boston, first quarter 20th century, the Roman numeral dial with time and strike movement sounding on a bell, stamped 'Made in France', 'A.1'. and Medaille d'Or pastille, housed within a drum and surmounted by a seated infant Bacchus wearing a lion skin and grape crown, all supported on a goat drawn chariot attended by two putti, case stamped 'FRANCE', raised on a rectangular plinth on four hairy paw feet, 22"h x 26"l.
