Nguyen Ducmanh (Vietnamese, b. 1933), "Voyage," 1969, lacquer on paper (laid down on canvas), titled, signed and dated verso, canvas (unframed): 27.5"h x 23"w. Note: Born in Hanoi, Ducmanh moved to NYC in 1956 where he soon exhibited at Allan Stone Gallery. Ducmanh's work combines Abstract Expressionism with serpentine Arabesques of his own design. Ducmanh has exhibited his work in galleries in Paris, London, Brussels, Amsterdam, Dublin, Basel and Chicago. Provenance: Acquired by descent from the Estate of Allan Stone
