A pair of George III sterling serving bowls, London, circa 1798, each ten sided shallow bowl with a petal form border enclosing an engraved leafy shield, 1.75"h x 9.75"w, total weighable 27.4 ozt. Provenance: Property from the estate of Ethel Mary Crocker, granddaughter of Charles Crocker (1822-1888), chief contractor in the building of the Central Pacific (later the Southern Pacific) Railroad, thence by direct family descent.
