A suite of eleven German 930 standard silver trays, each with an elaborately engrave leafy border, consisting of: the largest oval platter 19.75" x 14"; (2) large platters 16" x 11.5"; (2) medium platters 14" x 10"; (2) small oval platters 11" x 7.25"; (3) plates 8.5"d; en suite with a matching pair Shreve & Co. basins 15.5"d, total weighable 356 ozt [13 total]. Provenance: Property from the estate of Ethel Mary Crocker, granddaughter of Charles Crocker (1822-1888), chief contractor in the building of the Central Pacific (later the Southern Pacific) Railroad, thence by direct family descent.
