Description
Rudy Fernandez (American, b. 1948), "Coyote Cafe," mixed media with neon electric elements, overall: 46.5"hx 60.5"w x 6"d. Provenance: Private collection of the late Sonoma County art collector, Ron Collins. Collins created a private art gallery in a French-style chateau set on a 24-acre estate in the hills of Petaluma. The chateau housed hundreds of works of art by world renowned artists as well as rising local artists. Collins was a major supporter and sponsor of both Marin MOCA and the Oakland Museum of Art.
