Description
A Chinese blue and white moon flask vase. The flattened circular body rising from a splayed rectangular foot to a waisted neck, flanked by a pair of ruyi-form handles, both principal sides moled in low relief with a peach-shaped panel painted with bats hovering over fruiting peach sprays, reserved against a lotus scrolling ground, the neck with a floral scroll below a band of upright ruyi heads and a lingzhi meander around the mouth rim, the recessed base with a Qianlong six-character mark, of Guangxu period, 10" high.
