A Finn Lynggaard (Danish, born 1930) stoneware platter, 20th century, decorated with blue floral sprays within a gilt border, impressed factory mark and signature, 12.75" dia. Provenance: Collection of Henri Christian lveisen, owner of Axiom Designs (later XN Designs). A key figure in introducing Italian furniture to San Francisco, lveisen also maintained a showroom in Soho, New York. Originally from Denmark, his expertise in Danish design was honed during his time at Georg Jensen on 5th Avenue.
