A Japanese Shibayama-style inlaid-decorated and enameled silver vase and cover. Lobed upright melon shape body decorated with birds, cranes, flowering branches and flowers in multi-colored mother of pearl, flanked by a pair of dragon handles, finial featured with a pair of cranes, the base signed Masahide, Meiji period, 7.125" high. Provenance: Estate of Lila Mae Schneider Azad, Modesto, California.
