A Chinese yellow-ground famille rose foliate jardiniere and stand. Decorated with the Eight Buddhist Emblems separated by scrolling lotus, all set against a yellow ground, the rim is decorated with a blue-ground band of flower sprays, the interior and base are covered in a turquoise enamel around the seal mark. the stand is decorated en suite, and both are supported on four ruyi-head feet, each featuring a Jiaqing six-character seal mark in iron red and of the period (1796-1820), 7.375" and 6.5" wide.
