Lucinda Luvaas (American, 20th/21st century), "Autumn Strollers," relief painting on wood panel with oils, wax, and gel, initialed lower right, title label affixed verso, panel (overall/unframed): 36"h x 54"w. Provenance: Private collection of the late Sonoma County art collector, Ron Collins. Collins created a private art gallery in a French-style chateau set on a 24-acre estate in the hills of Petaluma. The chateau housed hundreds of works of art by world renowned artists as well as rising local artists. Collins was a major supporter and sponsor of both Marin MOCA and the Oakland Museum of Art.
