A pair of Neoclassical gilt bronze mounted Chinese porcelain covered urns, porcelain 18th century, mounts early 19th century, includes giltwood mounts for use as table lamps, urn: 14.5"h, 11"w (between handles); lamp: 31.5"h (overall). Provenance paper inscribed: '18th century Chinese Porcelain ginger jars, Ormolu (English) probably done by Matthew Boulton. Owned by the Duke of Jersey. Given to his wife, Virginial Cherrill (ex-movie actress), when they divorced. Bought by Davises from an antique shop in Santa Barbara in 1966'
