(lot of 3) Civil War ephemera, consisting of an application for compensation by a slave owner, the application in the name of William Winclock for his slave Joshua, who served at Bowling Green, KY, in 1864; the application attached to a document from "Headquarters Kentucky Volunteers Adjunct Generals Office" certifying Joshua's role in the War; together with a handwritten letter dated Lexington, 1862 and signed by "H. Lindsey" Provenance: from the Lindsey Family of Frankfort, KY.
